DESCRIPTION
This silent 1950s film compilation features a diverse array of scenes, beginning with people ice skating on a frozen pond, capturing the joy and activity of winter sports. This is followed by educational content, including detailed X-ray views of a foot in motion and the digestive system as people consume liquids and food, showing the process of digestion in action. Kids playing table tennis adds a playful contrast to the scientific demonstrations. The film then transitions to nature, featuring a tarantula moving slowly, a scorpion on the ground, and various underwater activities involving crayfish and starfish. There are close-ups of insects, including flies, and detailed shots of a centipede walking across different surfaces. We digitized and uploaded this film from the A/V Geeks 16mm Archive. Email us at footage@avgeeks.com if you have questions about the footage and are interested in using it in your project.
