DESCRIPTION
This film is about the use of radiation detectors to measure ionizing radiation emitted by atomic bombs, and how these instruments are used to identify and measure radiation to protect personnel and measure radiation exposure. It explains how these instruments work and how to calibrate them, as well as how to detect and measure radiation in a contaminated area and take steps to limit exposure. It also explores the use of these instruments for decontamination and reconstruction work in a bombed area.
