DESCRIPTION
In this 1950s film, there are various scenes depicting microscopic activity with pulsing lights. A grub twists in the dirt, and there are views of plants with flowers under a microscopic lens. The film transitions to scenes of people cross-country skiing and a view of a field with a building and hay bales in the foreground. There are multiple shots of buildings, a bear walking on concrete, and cows grazing on a hillside. Scenes of people dining at a restaurant with a mountain view and pedestrians in front of a large building follow. Water flows in a stream, and there are views of a reservoir and dam, along with utility infrastructure. Men walk toward a mountain, and water continues to flow in a stream. The film includes close-ups of nails nailed into wood with wire wrapped around them, magnets picking up paper clips, and various electrical and lighting elements. It concludes with scenes of kids leaving a school building, boys playing and running, and girls leaving school holding hands near a tree trunk.
This is silent, raw Kodachrome stock footage from the Coronet educational film company that they would use in their films. To use this footage from this film in your project, please contact us at footage@avgeeks.
