DESCRIPTION
In this 1950s film, there are recurring scenes of translucent orange bubbles of glass clustered together. There are also images of textured materials and patterns. The film showcases various activities such as attaching charger cables to a vehicle battery, filling a battery with liquid, using hedge trimmers on tree branches, playing with a model train, brushing teeth with an electric toothbrush, and interacting with wildlife including frogs, birds, and deer. Excavation sites and rock quarries are shown with cranes dumping rocks into dump trucks. The film also features scenes of traffic, solar furnaces, control panels, and experiments. Additionally, there are glimpses of train tracks, bats, skeletons, animals in zoos, and students looking into microscopes. The film concludes with scenes in an orchard, including people picking apples from trees. This is silent, raw Kodachrome stock footage from the Coronet educational film company that they would use in their films.
