The home movie from the 1940s is of a car driving down a desert road in the United States, passing by road signs, horses being herded by cowboys, and stopping at a state quarantine station. The car also drives through a mountainous area and stops at the San Carlos Lake and the Coolidge Dam. The movie also features views of deserts and cacti, a woman walking near a rocky desert mountain and a river, a tunnel, a canyon, and a memorial plaque. The car also enters the Grand Canyon National Park, where the tourists watch a traditional Native American performance, including an Eagle Dance and a Hoop Dance. The movie also includes views of the Grand Canyon at sunset, birds in trees and bushes, and the American flag waving in the wind. Views of mountains, canyons, lakes, deserts, and a villa. The movie shows the entrance to a cave, a woman walking around a lake, men talking near a building, views of the road from a moving car, and the interior and exterior of a villa. The movie also shows a canyon wall, a sundial, a faded sign, and a shack in the desert. There are scenes of people posing and talking in a courtyard, a man walking toward the camera, and a car driving down a dirt road. The movie also includes a shot of the moon in the blue sky, and a sign reading "Crater Turn Right, One Way Road" and a sign that is dented by bullets. Shows people swimming in the ocean, cars driving through rushing water on a road, waves crashing against rocks, a horse race on a track, and a variety of landscapes including mountains, desert, and sandy areas. The movie also features a museum, old stone buildings, a church, baseball game, gardens, and a pageant event with parade floats, ladies in swimsuits, men in uniform, and marching bands. The parade floats have various shapes including an airplane and a cruise boat, and the parade includes beauty pageant floats with women waving from on top.
