DESCRIPTION
The footage captures various agricultural activities in the 1950s United States, focusing on fruit picking, farming operations, and the processing of crops. It includes scenes of people working in fields, picking strawberries, and driving tractors. Children are shown eating strawberries and helping with the harvest. The footage also depicts the processing stages, such as strawberries and tins moving on conveyor belts, and workers packing tins into boxes. Additionally, there are scenes of machinery plowing fields, tractors cutting down crops and filling trailers with clippings, and trucks transporting these clippings. The nighttime operations are also highlighted, along with the transfer of greenery from trucks and various machine operations on the farm. This collection of scenes offers a comprehensive look at the agricultural practices and rural life during that era. We digitized and uploaded this film from the Prelinger Archive.
