This home movie from the 1930s captures a family gathering in the front yard of a brick house. The girl in the hat with scarf and dress skips around the walkway and plays with her family. The family then goes to an amusement park, where the kids ride ponies. They then go to the beach where the kids play in the sand and the woman in fur coat sits and reads. The family then boards a passenger ship, the S.S. California, and they wave goodbye from the deck as it sails away. On the ship, the family talks, smokes, eats, and enjoys the view from the deck.
