DESCRIPTION
[Home Movies Hoffman - HOF024 1931] This home movie captures the everyday life of a 1930s family. It starts with two little girls playing with kittens in the grass, which the mother cat inspects. They are then seen walking with a dog, and later, two young women start dancing in front of a sale sign. Women and a man pull a large woman onto a rooftop and wave from it. The family then visits a site where George Washington crossed the Delaware on Christmas night 1776, and ride a train, which passes under a bridge and a river. The men also take a dip in a pool and pose for the camera. The movie ends with a man walking down steps in front of a government building and a train moving slowly past a city. We digitized and uploaded this film from the Center From Home Movies Archive. Email us at footage@avgeeks.com if you have questions about the footage and are interested in using it in your project.
