DESCRIPTION
This home movie from the 1920s in the United States captures a family's journey across the country. It begins with them in their garden at home, followed by them leaving for California. Whilst travelling, they stay at hotels and visit gardens, bridges, and McCullough's Leap. They also visit the Ohio Masonic Home and Lodge, and the Ohio State Zoo. At the zoo, they observe polar bears, black bears, geese, bison, monkeys, crocodiles, lions and deer. The family also stops by the side of the road to pick fruit and flowers. The movie ends with the family in a city, admiring the stone buildings, industrial chimneys, and a tall monument, before the girl runs towards the camera and the title "The End" appears. We digitized and uploaded this film from the Center From Home Movies Archive. Email us at footage@avgeeks.com if you have questions about the footage and are interested in using it in your project.
