The home movie from 1940s is a travelogue of a car trip through different states in the United States, including Ohio, North Carolina, and Tennessee. It includes footage of the countryside, mountain roads, and national parks, such as Great Smoky Mountains National Park, as well as footage of small towns and cities. The movie also includes footage of Biltmore Estate, a large estate and tourist attraction in North Carolina. Other scenes include people fishing and catching fish, people preparing fish in a processing plant, and people working in a manufacturing facility. In some footage, people are seen eating food by car, while in other footage, people are seen swimming in outdoor pools. The movie also features footage of animals such as bears, sheep and cows, and of people playing with dogs.
