DESCRIPTION
This film is about Crisco, an all-vegetable shortening product made by Procter & Gamble. It starts by talking about champions and competition, then goes on to explain how Crisco has faced tough competition but has behaved like a champ, continually improving and innovating. In 1939, they introduced a new gyro churn process that made their product even creamier, and they also introduced air-free packing for increased purity. The film discusses the results of surveys and endorsements from doctors and cooking experts, and promises faster mixing and more appetizing food. It concludes by announcing a major advertising campaign, including radio spots and a contest, to promote the new and improved Crisco.
