DESCRIPTION
The film showcases the art of making a special sandwich called "tuna rarebit." Sally Gasco and her mother demonstrate how to prepare this open-faced creation. They use rye bread as a base, which complements the flavors of the tuna fish and cheese mixture. Sally melts cheese slices in a double boiler with butter, while her mother butters the bread. They add canned tuna fish to the melted cheese, ensuring the mixture doesn't discolor. To enhance the meal, they prepare a salad with celery, radishes, olives, and pickles, and include potato chips as a side dish. For beverages, they offer guests a choice of Coke or milk. The toasted bread is arranged on plates, and the tuna rarebit is spread on top. The dish is garnished with parsley and a touch of Tabasco for added color and flavor. The film emphasizes that with good techniques, equipment, and a little imagination, a sandwich can be transformed into a festive and delightful meal. Higher quality versions of this film can also be licensed for stock footage. Contact footage@avgeeks.com for more information.
