Case of the Missing Magnets (1960)

A Modern Management Film, this short film follows Grady, a plant supervisor as he goes about his managerial duties. Framed similar to the work private eye, his job is to find the missing magnets. We watch as Grady finds clues to solve his plant mystery and learns how to motivate employees by building morale for better teamwork, productivity, and quality. This happens as Grady asks himself "Which kind of worker would I be working under me?" He determines that he's the guilty party in this case, and needs to be more aware of enthusiasm, pride, and standards as plant supervisor.
