Innocent Party, The DIRECTOR: Harold \"Herk\" Harvey Presents the case history of a teen-ager who contracts venereal disease from a casual contact and transmits it to his girl friend. Emphasizes the need for immediate medical attention. Depicts emotional effects. Ken Smith notes: in line to see a John Wayne film, pick up two brunette floozies (cigarettes and too much eye makeup); afterward goes parking, infects virtuous blonde (no eye make-up) the next night; squint-eyed kid (Ronny Howard lookalike) always looks pained, even when he's screwing around (these kids are too old to be high schoolers); starts walking with a limp, his head hung low; runs across her in the hall, she doesn't speak, pained expression; polka-dot bow-tie doctor points out bloody sores in a catalog he pulls out of a filing cabinet; it's syphilis; helpful diagrams, mucous patches on tongue, hideous facial warts, baby without a nose.... -- Group of guys going to movie theater. 2 of them walk away after a couple of girls. The 2 guys and 2 girls get into a car. Guy isn't too sure of this. Gets into car anyway. Car speeds away. Guy and girl make out in backseat. This all happens during the film's credits.
