Safety With Animals (1961)
Shows how to approach and handle animals, both wild and domestic, with an emphasis on dogs and horses. Surveys the general field of safety around animals pointing out the need for knowledge and skill, the dangers in handling wild animals and how to handle trained animals. A small boy's reaction to animals and their reaction to him is used as illustration and continuity through most of the film. Emphasis is on dogs and horses although snakes, lizards, cats, and several other creatures are shown. Especially noted are the dangers of teasing animals, how to approach a strange animal and which ones are the poisonous animals.
