Desert Trek (1976)

This film follows a group of children led by an adult named Mr. Oke (William Christopher from M.A.S.H.) on a desert field trip meant to be an educational science project. The excursion takes a harrowing turn when Mr. Oke becomes incapacitated, potentially due to a medical emergency, leaving the children lost and disoriented in the harsh desert heat. As tensions rise and resources—specifically candy bars needed for a diabetic member of the group—disappear, the children struggle with panic, blame, and the burden of leadership.
