The main film is a color dramatization of scenes from the life of John the Baptist and Jesus — depicting the Baptism of Christ, the Sermon on the Mount, and related events — with costumed actors filmed on location in a dry, Mediterranean-looking landscape. It cuts between dramatic narrative scenes and illustrated title cards with scripture. The second film is The Divine Baptism (1946), directed by Harry S. Webb,
