DESCRIPTION
"Eye of the Beholder" explores the concept of perception through the lens of various characters observing Michael Gerard, a troubled artist. Each character sees him differently: a loving mother, a concerned cab driver, a suspicious gangster, and a cleaning woman who fears him. As the narrative unfolds, it becomes clear that these varying perceptions reflect their own biases and experiences rather than the truth of who Michael is. The film delves into themes of reality, identity, and the subjective nature of truth, culminating in Michael's quest to find the perfect muse for his painting, which he believes embodies the spirit of the 20th Century Madonna.
