Warning From Outer Space (1967)

A group of extraterrestrials from the planet Zeta arrives on Earth after observing the destructive habit of smoking among humans. Recognizing that their own civilization was nearly eradicated by the same addiction eons ago, the aliens decide to intervene. They abduct several unsuspecting Earthlings—including a teacher, a mother, a student, a mayor, and a cowboy—to show them "memory tapes" of their history. Through these tapes, the aliens demonstrate how their society fell into ruin due to widespread cigarette use, leading to horrific diseases, futile attempts to find "safe" cigarettes, and eventual catastrophe. Despite the stark warnings and the terrifying evidence presented, the Earthlings remain skeptical and hesitant to quit.
