Boy Of The Seminoles, A (1956)

The film tells the story of Naha, a young Seminole Indian boy living in the Everglades of Florida. Set in a time when the wilderness was largely untouched, Naha embarks on an adventure to find his missing dog, Lugy. Along the way, he discovers a baby alligator that Lugy has brought home. After discussing it with his mother and father, Naha learns that keeping the alligator as a pet may not be wise. Instead, he and his father journey into the swamp to return the baby alligator to its natural habitat, where it can thrive among its kind.
