DESCRIPTION
The film depicts the life of a Sioux family as they transition from their winter hunting grounds to the plains in search of buffalo herds. Red Horn, the father, teaches his son Catana the skills of hunting and survival. The family sets up their teepee, prepares food, and engages in traditional practices while waiting for the buffalo hunt. As they successfully hunt buffalo, the family celebrates and prepares for the future, highlighting their reliance on the buffalo for sustenance and the cyclical nature of their nomadic lifestyle.
